Meloi

Agrio Livadi

This lonely beach is about 25 minutes walk from Skala and quite close for those staying at the Porto Scoutari Romantic Hotel. Tamarisks provide shade on the sand and pebble beach. Kampos

The beach at Kampos is one of the most popular on the island. It is tree-backed, with the Tamarisks offering welcome shade. The shallow water is ideal for young children. Lampi

Lambi is the island’s northernmost beach. It is well known for its rare pebbles of ma many colors. There is a lonely tavern right on the beach and the Dolphin Snack Bar with umbrellas and deckchairs as well. It is about 9 km from the port, on the north-east coast of the island. Read More…

Livadi Delapothitou

Beautiful, picturesque, bays with views of Kambos and Chora. The beaches are sandy and the sea is almost always calm.

Diakoftis

This is the island narrowest point. It is a pebbly beach.

Psili Ammos

This is reputed to be the islands loveliest beach. It has golden-colored sand. A few Tamarisks line the beach. There is a tavern. There are also toilets and showers. Although nudism is forbidden all over the island, nudists gather there owing to its inaccessibility. You can get there by boat in one hour from Skala. In windy weather though, the sailing may be rough. Alternatively, leave your vehicle at Diakofti and continue on foot over some rough terrain but a clearly marked path.
